The Story

How Tafadzwa
got here.

I breathe boxing, and I see myself fighting the biggest names in the business.

Tafadzwa Mushando

I hail from Gutu and was raised in Triangle. My journey into boxing began in 2016, during my first year at Hippo High School. I was fortunate to benefit from the vibrant sporting ecosystem fostered by the sugar giants in the region.

As an amateur I competed in 16 bouts, recording 14 wins and only 2 losses, and earned a silver medal at the National Youth Games in Bulawayo.

I turned professional in 2019. Since then I have shared the ring with 10 opponents, including two tours in Namibia — a country many in Africa regard as the mecca of boxing. While I have yet to secure a victory on Namibian soil, my dedication and intensive training have never wavered, and I believe an impact victory is within close reach.

My vision remains clear: to become a global champion sanctioned by a respected boxing governing body.
